INDIAN BIRD CHAIR PAIR
I fell in love with these twin chairs when I found them at a local thrift shop. They absolutely had to be fuchsia - that was clear. Once they were rescued from their former drab hue, I added tiny wooden tiles, bright beads, and strings of little cloth birds from India. For the seat cushions, I used a hand-woven textile from somewhere in Central or South America - I don't know the specific country - which I also found at a thrift shop. These currently flank the sideboard in my dining room, but they need a bigger home where they can stretch out and show off their brilliance.
