A blah Colonial American chair...I had no choice but to paint it blue. Then I added Guatemalan Worry Dolls, assorted beads, and pieces of broken glass across the back for some pizzazz.
For the seat, I cut up pieces of a hand-embroidered mustard-yellow Mexican blouse acquired at my local thrift shop and appliqued them onto a cotton seat. Cultural confusion perhaps? Fun for sure.
