My cousin gave me some of her antique chairs last year because she knew they were my favorite medium. I pondered this one for months, uncertain what I wanted to turn it into. When my friend Dawn reached the end of her body's battle with cancer recently, we all knew her soul, heart, and spirit had been transformed into something beautiful beyond our understanding, like a caterpillar that becomes a glorious butterfly. This chair is intended as art...it's not furniture...but I know its bright oranges and yellows and raison d'être will enliven any room in your home.
